Nasra Nimaga, (born Hong Kong SAR), from Nairobi, Kenya, is a self-proclaimed “creative soul” whose creative pursuits range from architecture, to photography to weaving and material experimentation.  Nasra is a NY based Architectural Designer. She holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelors from UCLA (Summa cum Laude).  At her "day job," Nasra works on many scales of architectural projects both locally and abroad with particular emphasis on primary and secondary education, higher Education, culture, large scale and mixed use projects.

Nasra is also a published Photographer. Portrait photography is her passion and like with her architectural pursuits, Nasra sees photography as something that can inspire change and challenge widely accepted definitions of what it means to be beautiful and thus broaden perception of beauty. Photographs tell stories. Bold Color, and textures characterize her work and for her, color uplifts the soul.

When Nasra is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, travelling and documenting all of these things with her camera.
